Cold Steel American Lawman

Cold Steel makes great knives.  They have a passion for knife creation and construction that goes beyond most knife companies.  They build a lot of knives that are extremely specific to situations.  For instance, just a few days ago, I reviewed the Beaver Tail.  The American Lawman Folder Pocket knife is the perfect knife for nearly any situation.  It is one of the most versatile pocket knives I have seen in a long time.
Built light at 5.4 ounces, it has G-10 scales and a blade made of Japanese AUS8A stainless steel with a black teflon coat.  This mid sized knife is comfortable to carry in your pocket, and it is even more comfortable to use.  Named the American Lawman because it was built with those who protect and serve in mind, it has a ton of features that make it such a great pocket knife.
It is easy to hold–regardless of the conditions.  The G-10 scales provide an extra level of grip and the shape of the handle make the knife easy to hold onto.  Then there is the Tri-Ad system that holds the blade in the locked open position.  A special new system that Cold Steel has developed, it provides three levels of locking power for the blade which means the knife isn’t going to close up on your hand and fingers when you are using it.  Then there is the blade, with a great drop point shape this blade provides a whole lot of cutting real estate for you to get your jobs done.  The generously sized wide blade gives you the ability to cut, slice, dice and penetrate. 
Named the American Lawman in honor of those who serve, this knife would be just as comfortable on the ranch, on the construction site, or in your pocket as you travel around doing your everyday chores.
