Cold Steel Counter Point XL Knife Review — Snapshot Review
Posted by admin on May 15th 2014
Cold Steel makes serious tactical knives for people who demand the best. The Counter Point XL folder is no exception. Patterned after the old school stiletto style, this spear point folder boasts a 6″ blade with a long false edge and a needle sharp point. Blade opens with the ambidextrous thumb studs. The blade locks open with the Tri-Ad® lock. If you have never had the pleasure of using a knife with the Tri-Ad system, it is seriously one of the toughest blade locks on the market. Specifically designed to keep your blade open, it turns a folder into a virtual fixed blade knife–protecting your fingers from disaster. The handle is injection molded Griv-Ex with steel liners for strength and rigidity. The handle flares near the blade to act as a blade guard. It also has a gently curved palm swell that travels nearly the full length of the handle giving your hand a natural grip. Pocket clip included for pocket, boot, or belt carry.
