Gerber PRESTO Spring Assisted Knives
Posted by admin on Sep 18th 2009
Gerber has made a pretty good spring assisted knife for quite some time now. I think, in some ways, Gerber has a reputation that far exceeds the quality of their knives. This is not to say that all of their knives are bad. In fact, some of their knives are really good. For instance, they have and automatic knife, the Covert Auto, that I think is a fantastic knife. I also really like their PRESTO line of knives. These knives use the Gerber named F.A.S.T. system of spring assist. These knives have a rubber insert on the handle which actually feels pretty good in your hand. They open quickly and seem to withstand quite a bit of heavy use. These spring assist knives are fairly easy to use with one hand. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, every day knife in the spring assist class–the Presto knives are some you could consider with confidence.
