ProTech Brend 2 Knives

We just got the PT1202BLU into stock today.  As I was inspecting the knife, I realized how much I like ProTech auto knives.  This knife, the PT1202 is the Baby Brend.  There are 3 sizes of the Brend in production right now.  The 1st is large.  Really large.  Thes 2nd, the “baby brend” is about 1/3 the size of the original.  This version works good for a true pocket knife.  The 3rd, falls in between the first two, and is about a mid-size auto knife.  All of them are fantastic.  It just depends which size you want and what you are going to do about it.

Here are the things I really like about ProTech knives.  The workmanship on these production knives is almost unparalleled in the industry.  The only other companies that do similar quality work are Microtech, SOG, and Benchmade.  ProTech knives have a nearly custom look to them.  Each part is meticulously put together in their factory and fitted just right.  The takeaway is that their products have seamless lines and transitions.  Add to this the fact that ProTech always uses top quality materials in their knives and you have a fantastic line of knives. 

If I were to rank the companies in order of quality, I would have a hard time doing so.  But, ProTech is definitely one of my favorites.  Many of their knives not only function extremely well–they also look fantastic in collections.  Their knives, for me, exhibit the class and sophistication of classic knifemaking.  Check them out on our website under our ProTech knives section.  You will be happy you did.
