This Pro-Tech CQC7 Automatic knife was built as a collaboration between Ernest Emerson and Pro-Tech Knives.  This fantastic auto knife features a tanto blade with a chisel tip.  Built with the famous Pro-Tech coil spring, this knife opens fast and hard.  The lock up is tight.  Built at the Pro-Tech facility, the knife features all the high quality manufacturing that you would expect from a Pro-Tech built knife.  I especially like the handle on this knife.  It is basic.  Made of 6061 T6 black aluminum, the shape gives your hand and extremely comfortable hold.  And it has just a bit of jimping on the spine of the handle right where it meets the blade–which gives you a great spot for extra leverage if you need it.   The blade also has a spot right near the junction of the blade and the handle where your thumb fits perfect and gives you even more leverage.  This knife is built to be used.  This collaborative effort stands tall–well made, top quality materials, and an extremely useful shape make the Pro-Tech CQC7 auto knife perfect for every day carry.
