TOPS Knives HOG 4.5 Knife Review — Snapshot Review

The TOPS Knives HOG 4.5 features a 4 3/8″ blade that is 3/8″ thick.  Finished with a black traction coat, the knife blade is 1095 High Carbon Steel.  On the full tang blade you will find black linen Micarta handle scales that have unbelievably comfortable contouring.  Quick note–this is one of the most comfortable fixed blade knives I have held in a long, long time.  The name, HOG stands for a certification that US Marin Scout Snipers can earn called the HOG–or Hunter of Gunmen.  The HOG 4.5 is a no frills, heavy duty tactical knife that is going to serve you well no matter where you serve.  It comes with a black ballistic nylon sheath.  Best points about the HOG 4.5 are the size, durability of materials and the number one best thing is the comfort.  Excuse me, I need to go cut some things with my new HOG 4.5 fixed blade.  You can find yours here.
