The Boker Annual Damast 2022 Folder Knife is the perfect knife for collectors and lovers of lightweight pocket knives. This year's Boker Annual Damascus combines the handy construction of the Boker Boxer EDC with exceptional materials. This stainless clip point blade is made of hand-forged Damascus by Chad Nichols, consisting of 180 layers, a pronounced ricasso, and a 90° stop. This beautiful blade is paired with attractive handle scales made form 5500-year-old bog oak wood. This wood has an almost velvety surface. Bog oak wood is not a tree species, but rather oak trunks that have laid in bogs, swamps, or riverbanks for centuries and were salvaged when the areas were drained. The tannic acid of the oak wood combines with the iron salts of the water over the course of decades, making the wood exceedingly hard and giving it its dark color. The copper rivets create striking contrast against the dark wood, and are emphasized by the copper liners. Limited to 999 pieces worldwide, this knife is a worthy addition to any collection.
