BladeOps is excited to announce the newest exclusive model to the ever-growing arsenal of Boker Kalashnikov auto knives--the Kalashnikov with a high-performance D2 blade. This exclusive model features a black aluminum handle, standard bead blasted hardware, a drop point style blade in a bead blast finish and the extra-long deep carry pocket clip is statically designed for tip up carry only on the traditional side of the handle.

The Boker Kalashnikov automatic knife is one of the most popular side open automatics on the market today considering the price point. This knife, as well as the rest of the Kalashnikov auto family, is referred to an auto-conversion knife which means the knife is produced as a folder knife and then converted via third party to offer the automatic function.
D2--an air-hardened tool steel that was developed to cut other steels. This American-made steel offers fantastic toughness and edge retention and is perfect for hard-use applications.

    Good action and steel. Coating comes off the handle easy. Factory edge is below par, but with some work I've got a very sharp edge on it.

    Man I’m gonna say that it’s super tough in D2 I think the steel makes this a beast of an EDC

    I just don't think you will get a better deal than $40 for this automatic knife in D2. The action is strong. The ergonomics are great. I don't mind the pocket clip's shape, however I do wish it came in matte black. The clip in stone washed stainless stands out to much for deep concealment. The knife was dull out if the box, but it took a sharp edge without too much trouble.
