BladeOps is excited to announce the newest exclusive model to the ever-growing arsenal of Boker Kalashnikov auto knives--the Kalashnikov with a high-performance D2 blade. This exclusive model features a black aluminum handle, standard bead blasted hardware, a drop point style blade in a bead blast finish and the extra-long deep carry pocket clip is statically designed for tip up carry only on the traditional side of the handle.

The Boker Kalashnikov automatic knife is one of the most popular side open automatics on the market today considering the price point. This knife, as well as the rest of the Kalashnikov auto family, is referred to an auto-conversion knife which means the knife is produced as a folder knife and then converted via third party to offer the automatic function.
D2--an air-hardened tool steel that was developed to cut other steels. This American-made steel offers fantastic toughness and edge retention and is perfect for hard-use applications.

    I have been on the bubble about ordering one of these based on reviews and price point. When it went on sale I decided to give it a chance. I am not disappointed. The conversion is really clean and the knife is snappy and fast for sure. The D2 blade is thick and holds it's edge really well. It carries deep in the pocket too, I like that. The handle is comfortable and provides a good grip. It is textured to prevent slipping. Blade is perfectly centered as well. Not too much negative other than no safety. Try one you will like it.

    It's a nice knife, works as it should. I would give it 5 stars but I hate the pocket clip on it

    I’ve had this knife for sometime now and I have to say , it’s one of the best knives I’ve ever owned. It takes a good beating and keeps going. Also, blade ops has an outstanding customer service.
