Chris Reeve knives began operation back in 1984 in South Africa and after moving to Boise, Idaho in 1989 things really began to take off. Every knife and every knife design, whether a result of a collaboration or not, was built with intended purpose, appropriate materials and the finest tolerances in the industry. Available in 2 distinct blade variations, the Nyala (nn-yahl-uh) makes for a good skinner or utility knife and relies on the spiral linear grooves throughout the handle scales for a positive grip. This model features black natural micarta handles atop a stainless steel frame, an insingo style blade in a stonewash finish and the black leather sheath provides a belt carry option. Made in the USA.
