The Cold Seel Leatherneck SF knife honors the US Marines. In 1776 Congress compelled all Marines to wear a thick, high leather collar to protect their necks and keep their heads up straight in proper military posture. Built with a saber ground clip point blade of German D2 stainless steel, the blade is honed by hand to a razor sharp edge. It is finished with a non-reflective DLC coating. The Leatherneck has a substantial blade guard made of thick steel with double quillons that are turned slightly forward for extra hand protection. The handle is made of deeply checkered Kray-Ex that encloses the full tang and gives you unsurpassed gripping power with an oval cross section and finger troughs. Cap it all off with a thick, machined steel butt that can be used in battle or as an emergency hammer. Comes with a sturdy Secure-Ex sheath complete with fully detachable and ambidextrous belt loop.
