The Terrestrial is one of many new flipper models debuted in 2018 and was designed by American knifemaker and Oregon native Eric Ochs. With a name such as Terrestrial--it's easy to see how knife is more than meets the eye. Most notably is the blade design showcases a merriment between a spear point blade and harpoon-like features which creates a suitable thumb rest for those finer tasks. While the handle design provides great ergonomics, the custom-tuned pivot screw really adds a touch of class. Furthermore, each stainless steel blade is deployed with a spine flipper function and the fluid action can be attributed to the IKBS ball bearing pivot system. From the beginning, CRKT has been driven by a single purpose: to bring useful technological advancements and entirely new product concepts to today's market. This model, the 5370, features a black G-10 handle coupled with stainless steel liners, a modified spear point style blade in a satin finish and the deep carry pocket clip is statically designed for tip up carry only on the traditional side of the handle.
