While the Fossil is not new to the CRKT line-up, this year provides us with 2 new variations to truly highlight its versatility and value. Designed by Brazilian knifemaker Flavio Ikoma, this flipper brings about a rugged yet artistic flair to keep it just as unique as it is effective. Each frame lock designed model features a hammered finish throughout and the G-10 overly coupled with the dedicated finger groove and rear underbelly jimping adds extra width and traction for all of your cutting tasks. Furthermore, each stainless steel blade is deployed with a spine flipper function and the fluid action can be attributed to the IKBS ball bearing pivot system. From the beginning, CRKT has been driven by a single purpose: to bring useful technological advancements and entirely new product concepts to today's market. This larger model, the 5473, features a marbled black G-10 overlay atop a silver stainless steel handle, a modified clip point style blade in a satin finish complete with Veff Serrations and the pocket clip is statically designed for tip up carry only on the traditional side of the handle.
