The ER variation of the M16-14 Kit Carson designed knife is a response to all first responders around the globe. Upgrades to this popular model include an added seat belt cutter built into the flipper, upgraded blade steel and a tungsten carbide window breaker at the base. Each liner lock designed model features the Carson Flipper that not only deploys the blade but doubles as a blade guard in the open position. Additionally this knife features CRKT's automated liner safety which is a next-generation locking mechanism that sets a pin between the locking liner and the frame--virtually turning this folder into a fixed blade. This model features safety orange GRN (Glass-Reinforced Nylon) handles, stainless steel liners, a partially serrated tanto style blade, complete with Triple Point™ serrations, in a satin finish and the fully reversible 4-way pocket clip is designed for tip up or tip down carry on either side of the handle.
