While the Offbeat II folder may look new, the reality is that it was designed close to 40 years ago. Even though they had to go deep--and we mean deep--into the archives, designers Pat and Wes Crawford wanted to reincarnate the Offbeat to once again showcase their "Crawford Lockback" mechanism which is deactivated by pushing the thumb stud on the elongated cutout on the spine to the side and closing the blade. From the beginning, CRKT has been driven by a single purpose: to bring useful technological advancements and entirely new product concepts to today's market. This model features black GRN (Glass-Reinforced Nylon) handle scales, a drop point style blade in a satin finish and the extra-long reversible pocket clip is designed for tip up carry only but is eligible for a left or right hand carry option.
