Kershaw really nailed it on this knife. It is put together extremely well and there is zero play in the handles. This is, without a doubt, the most solid balisong you can pick up for the money. Its a tad on the heavy side but its a big knife. You'll get used to it pretty quickly. My only nit picky gripe is the latch. It is also big....and noisy. It is very easy to take off, but then you don't have a latch. A spring latch would really raise the bar on an already amazing knife. The KVT bearings are pretty silky out of the box, but I'm sure will get even better as the knife gets broken in a bit more. There are extremely light "rollover" points in the new bearings that can be felt by lightly holding the handle and moving it up and down along the pivot, but again, using the knife and breaking in the bearings will address this I'm sure. Also of note, there are 6 sets of screws on this knife. I checked all of them and 2 of the 6 sets were not loctited down and were fairly loose. One of the loose sets was the safe handle pivot point and the other was the small screw set above the latch on the bite handle. So do your due diligence and check those, it'll save you a huge headache down the road. This thing is SHARP....and very pointy. If you add these things to the heft and size of this knife, you have the potential to get cut much worse that on other variants of balisongs. Its so sharp, in fact, that if you happen to be a taper, I dont think I'd trust it to a single layer. It'd probably just cut right through that, again due to the size, heft and sharpness of this knife. And that point. So, if you are a beginner down this path, with this knife, you have been warned. Bladeops was great to work with and had my product to me very quickly. All in all, an excellent knife from an excellent company.
