The word Troodon (TROH-o-don) was actually named after a bird-like dinosaur from the Campanian age. The Microtech Socom Alpha full tang fixed blade knife was originally designed after the folder version of the popular Microtech Socom Alpha but now offered in a smaller size. This is the first model of the Socom Alpha Mini fixed blade model which will eventually be sold in the production line. This elegant tactical fixed blade features a shorter blade than the folder design as well as a raised rib pattern around the exterior of the handle to assist with positive control and an enhanced grip in any position. This model features carbon fiber handles, DLC two-tone double vapor blasted hardware, a star ground tanto style blade in a DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) hand-rubbed satin finish and a black Ramos custom leather sheath. Package comes complete with a presentation box, zipper pouch as well as a certificate of authenticity. Made in the USA.
