Description

While the Socom Elite has been made before, this model has been redesigned--now featuring an upgraded glassbreaker system in addition to a modified pocket clip, custom standoffs and a sub-frame lock design. Since the inaugural models debuted in 1996, the Socom line has been a standard for law enforcement, military personnel as well as the civilian sector or anyone else looking for a workhorse of a folder. This model features a black anodized aircraft-grade aluminum handle complete with grip-promoting inlays, a drop point style blade in a black finish and the pocket clip is statically designed for tip down carry only on the traditional side of the handle. Made in the USA.

    This Socom is super super thin behind the edge, it’s basically zero ground and has a very minimalistic “kitchen knife” type edge which I LOVE. Mine came scary hair whittling sharp out of box. I like this variant better than the older Socoms for several reasons. 1. It doesn’t have that pesky proprietary hardware. 2. The detent is much better. I always felt the older Socoms had a very lazy detent. No worries with this model. 3. The glass breaker doesn’t rattle. Very minor detail but thought it should be noted. Finally I’d like to thank Blade Ops for processing & shipping this knife to me so quickly and for beating the “other guys” prices. Highly recommended
