This special Microtech Combat Troodon Bounty Hunter features a green distressed handle complete with unique red distressed hardware, a pocket clip with a yellow Mandalorian skull graphic and an integrated glass breaker function along with a fully serrated tanto style blade in an apocalyptic stonewash finish. Furthermore, the blade also includes satin flats and a black finished blood groove. This knife is a Signature Series model.
The word Troodon (TROH-o-don) was actually named after a bird-like dinosaur from the Campanian age. The literal translation in Greek is "wounding tooth" which represents the sharp and serrated nature of the Troodon's dental structure. The Combat Troodon is 25% larger than the tradition Troodon model but still manages to boast a sleek slender contoured handle that is ergonomic as it is functional. Each Microtech OTF knife has extremely sophisticated internal mechanisms which improve the overall operational functionality and reliability.
