The SOG Banner is one of may new knives released by SOG this year and is their first USA-made spring assisted model. This fully loaded SOG knife features an ultra premium USA-made CPM-S35VN stainless steel blade for superior edge retention and strength while also providing ideally placed jimping on the blade for increased control on precise cutting tasks. The aluminum handles were machined with insets, as well as the SOG logo, for increased control and grip and there is an integrated slide safety on the back side of the knife that allows the blade to be locked in either the open or closed position. The blade on this spring assisted knife is propelled thanks to the dual thumb stud design--offering quick action and a solid lockup. This model the BA-1001, features a black anodized aircraft aluminum handle, stainless steel liners, a drop point blade in a TiNi (Titanium Nitride) black finish, and a deep carry pocket clip statically designed for tip up carry only. Made in the USA.
