The Native 5 redefines what a practical and multi-functional cutting tool should be--combining the original size, shape and ergonomics of the classic Native model while incorporating significant design and engineering upgrades. The Native 5 models also feature a highly refined back lock mechanism that uses a rocker arm that pivots in the center which represents the pinnacle of strength and ease of operation. The added finger choil with jimping both there are on the spine of the blade provide an opportunity for precision cutting and the enlarged torx screws allow for user-friendly maintenance with easy adjustments. Like most of Spyderco's popular models, the Native 5 comes in many different models with varying handle materials, handle colors, blade finishes, blade variations and finally blade materials. This model, the C41CFFP5, features a fluted carbon fiber handle, a satin finished leaf shaped blade, Spyderco's trademark round hole opening feature and an ambidextrous 4-way positional pocket clip which allows for a tip up or tip down carry option on either side of the handle.
