The Spyderco Poliwog gives you the feel of a very large knife while featuring an under 2 inch blade. The ergonmic handle (visibly larger than the blade) gives you high cutting performance in a compact and unique looking package. The Poliwog has a G-10 handle that sports an open eneded Ball Bearing Lock that is rated for heavy-duty use. Because the Poliwog exposes it's inner works, the locking mechanism is easy to clean under running water or with compressed air. When you pull back on the ball bearing, the blade unlocks. This ambidextrous locking system is simple and smooth to use. The handle has nice curves that give invite your index finger into the choil for optimized control while minimizing fatigue and pressure. The VG-10 blade is hollow ground and has a weight reducing swedge grind from mid spine to the tip. The Poliwog also comes with a wire pocket clip for tip up pocket carry.
