Spyderco YoJumbo Compression Lock Knife, Black S30V Blade

Great knife from Bladeops and Spiderco. Delivered very fast at a great price. The knife came super sharp, so please, please, please be careful with it. I cannot over emphasize enough that this is not a knife that you can just be casual with. When that blade swings out, it commands full attention. The handle is a bit grabby, but this will wear in within a month of use. The handle has places for fingers to grip, and I have yet to find a place to grab that doesn't feel secure. I have already noticed that the steel seems much tougher than more budget steels. Pocket clip is standard issue. The compression lock works fine, however the button shares a bit of space with an unsharpened part of the blade as it closes. I knew about this before making my purchase. The tension of the lock bar seems to be enough to put excessive pressure on the knife scales. The knife scales have so little clearance that (even though the blade is centered) the scales can and do occasionally make contact with the blade. I have tried making some adjustments to the pivot, which has helped a little. Anyway, overall a great knife. Definitely an attention grabber.....not a knife for the office follks!
