We don't recommend you convert the knife yourself, but if you have an already converted knife and need a spring--this is the one you need. You only need one spring but we sell them in pairs just in case you break one.

Watched some YT videos and the one from Bladeops, and thought it would be a breeze. The only issue was that every time I tightened the screws on the scales (handles), the pushbutton locked up and wouldn't move. Loosen them and it would. One thing that helped was to hold the pushbutton down as I tightened the screws (watching out for the blade, of course). I eventually got it working again after a half-dozen tries, but it's still a little scratchy for some reason. Oh well - at least it works now!
Excellent, good quality springs. They fit well.
Was easy to install after watching s YouTube video. I feel it's stronger than the original spring. I've had my Kalashnikov automatic for 5 yrs. I use it everyday. When the during broke, I felt the knife was worth repairing, so I looked online and ran across this site. Couldn't be happier. Would not hesitate to do business again.
