Description

The TOPS Knives Exclusive BlackOut edition of the Wild Pig Hunter gives you a 7 1/2" blade built specifically for wild pig hunting. A mature feral hog can weigh over 400 pounds and sport 4 razor sharp tusks. The men who hunt these beasts need to be prepared with the best knives possible--the TOPS Wild Pig Hunter fits the bill. The 1/4" thick 1095 high carbon steel blade has a special BlackOut, black powdercoat finish. This hardcore knife has black G10 handle scales with the "Rocky Mountain Tread" for a secure grip in wet, muddy and bloody conditions. It also has red G10 liners. Comes with a special USA made Kydex sheath.

    I love this big knife. I have tested this knife doing some bushcraft work and other stuff. I have no complaints in this knife. And the black color is a nice details better than the original color and matches with my uniform.

    I have this knife in the original configuration and it is a tough sharp blade. Unfortunately you cannot store it in the leather sheath, the steel, even well oiled will begin to rust within a week. The Blackout being coated and with a kydex sheath does not suffer this problem. Excellent blade and the sheath is molded perfectly and holds the blade secure.
